The Quinte Coordinating Committee Against Violence is hosting an Educational Event: Putting the Renfrew Inquest Recommendations into Motion

Join us on March 20th, 2025 as we discuss the Renfrew Inquest and how we can take action on its crucial recommendations.

This inquest followed the tragic femicides of Carol Culleton, Anastasia Kuzyk, and Nathalie Warmerdam. These women were murdered by a man who had been a former partner to each of them and was known for his history of violence.

The event will feature two guest speakers, Daryn Brito and Erin Lee.

Daryn Brito is a survivor who is using her lived experienced to break the silence about domestic violence. Daryn brings a desire to inspire change, foster understanding and empower others.

Erin Lee is the Executive Director of Lanark County Interval House, and member of the Domestic Violence Death Review Committee among many others. Erin brings with her many years of experience in the area of domestic violence.
